Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, was very well aware that rash driving inevitably lead to death and injury. And a magistrate recently stated this fact when in the process of booking him for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in his 10 year old hit & run case.
A copy of this order was released to the press today. Dipesh Mehta, Salman’s lawyer said that Salman was going to be challenging the order soon at the Bombay High Court. The lawyer said that Salman was not at the wheel of his SUV when it crashed in to a bakery and killed one person while injuring 4 more.
The defence has argued for Salman that the incident took place late at night when it was dark & there were a lot of people who had gathered around the accident. They say that Salman lacked the motive to kill someone which is why the act should not be treated as culpable homicide but as an unfortunate incident like an act of God.
