Rani Wants To Make Martial Arts Compulsory In Schools

Rani Mukherji, the Bollywood actress recently said that she supported making martial arts & other various self defense methods compulsory in schools so that it could help children learn to defend themselves & keep fit.

She said that karate, taekwondo and various martial art forms were just like chemistry and Hindi and should be made compulsory for school children that are as young as 3 or 4.

The actress also spoke about how important it was for people to fight back against criminals.She said that if a person learns to defend themselves right from childhood they would be able to handle problems a lot better.

There were many other Bollywood stars such as Javed Akhtar, Alyque Padamsee, Karisma Kapoor and Shabana Azmi present at the event as well.
