A statue of legendary director Yash Chopra was recently revealed during a UTV STARS event and Rani Mukherji, the Bollywood actress got very emotional during the unveiling.
Rani, who had tears in her eyes, thanked the people at UTV for the statue and added that this was a great moment for the people that loved her uncle as well as for the people that were associated with his family. She concluded by saying that everyone missed him.
He had died last year at the age of 80 because of dengue. The statue has him wearing his trademark cap & camera. It was unveiled by his wife Pamela along with their son Uday.
Some of his best work included movies such as Daag, Silsila, Chandni, Ittefaq, Waqt, Dharamputra and Kabhi Kabhi.
