Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor was born on 24 December 1959. His father Surinder Kapoor was an erstwhile Bollywood producer and his mother Nirmal. Anil made his debut with the Hindi film Hamaare Tumhare in 1979 and was cast in a minor role.

He then went on to act in films like Hum Paanch (1980) and Shakti (1982) which also saw him in a minor role. Then in 1983 he starred in the film Who Saat Din. He also won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film.
